A million Naira is sitting in my wife's bank account.

A million Naira is sitting in my wife's bank account. She doesn’t have a job. The last time I checked that same account, sometime last year, it had just about 30 thousand in it.

She started working with a lady she called her friend about seven months ago. It’s not an official job. The friend is a supervisor at a clΓΊb, and my wife goes there once in a while to help out.  According to her, the lady pays her 40k or 50k Naira.
sometimes. She goes about three times a week, leaves around 8pm and is back by 11pm. Just three hours. That’s why I believed the wΓ‘ge.

I even asked her to stop, but she ins!sted, saying she needed a side hustle. Since we got married in 2021, I’ve been the one taking care of everything.  So even though I didn’t like the job, I accepted it because her support eΓ‘sed some of my prΓ©ssure.
Now I’ve checked her account and it has seven figures. Seven figures! Something I haven’t seen a quarter of in my whole life.  And she was h!ding it from me.

I demanded to know the sΓ΄urce, and she told me she was saving from the job. A job that pays 50 thousand  naira at most?  How do you save over a million in less than seven months from that? It doesn’t add up.

When I pressed hΓ‘rder,  she said she doesn’t know how the money got there. I asked her to pr!nt the statement, and most of the money was trΓ‘ to trΓ‘nsfers from her mΓ΅bile money wallet plus some heavy in-person depΓ³sits. There was even one deposit of 880,000 thousand  naira in a s!ngle day.

Now she’s gone s!lent on the whole thing. She won’t tell me where the money is really from. Instead, she says I can take it all and just leave her alone because she doesn’t want to explain.

But I don’t want the money. I just want to know the trΓΊth. How does someone who doesn’t even earn 200,000 thousand  naira a month see their account move from 30 thousand  naira to over a million in a few months?

Shouldn’t the banks even flΓ‘g this as sΓ»spiciΓ΄us or illΓ©gal? Could it be that she’s chΓͺΓ’ting on me with a r!ch men? I keep asking but she gives no answers. First, she said she saved it, then she said she doesn’t know how it got that far, even though I’ve seen the depΓ΄sits myself.

Now she just wants me to take the money and fórget about everything instèad of telling me the trúth.
I’m really worried . What should I do? 😭 😭

Short answer: Yes, but there can be repercussions (read on). These services use bots to drive views and engagement in minutes after purchasing.  In London, a man stood on the edge of a bridge, lost in a battle no one else could see. He was ready to let go. But then something extraordinary happened—complete strangers refused to let go of him. Without hesitation, a group of passersby rushed forward. They grabbed his arms, his shirt, whatever they could hold onto. For nearly an hour, they gripped him tightly, speaking softly, offering hope, refusing to let the darkness win. Look at their hands—the strength, the care, the fierce determination of people who owed him nothing but gave him everything they had. Strangers, bound not by blood or friendship, but by shared humanity. In the end, help arrived. He was pulled back to safety—because when he needed it most, the world showed up with open arms. This is the face of humanity. This is what hope looks like. On Facebook
